As from Monday 4 April, Pools on the Park became part of Richmond Council and Feel Good Fitness. We would like to take this opportunity to welcome all transferred and new members and to thank you for your patience during our refurbishment works and the transition period.

Pools on the Park new gym now open

Following our &100,000 investment the new gym at Pools on the Park is now open.

We hope that you like the new look and that all new and transferred members have booked in for their mini-induction.

We are aware that many of you are experienced gym users, however to comply with our health and safety policy everyone must complete and induction. These will be done in groups and will only take 15-30 minutes.

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support during both the refurbishment works and the transition from Springhealth to Richmond Council.



Holistic exercise to harmonise the mind and body

Reduce life’s stresses and centre yourself with our new Iyengar Yoga class at Teddington Pools & Fitness Centre.

Yoga is one of the most widely practiced of spiritual disciplines. The postures used in Yoga have been developed over thousands of years. It encourages relaxation and the posture work can alleviate back pain as well as improving circulation.

Each class will improve posture, enhance your breathing and build your strength, flexibility and balance. Your stress levels will fall as your sense of wellbeing improves.

Iyengar Yoga is available:
Monday 5.00-6.00pm NEW CLASS!
Tuesday 10.30-11.45am
Wednesday 7.30-8.30pm
Friday 10.30-11.45am
Sunday 8.45-10.00am NEW TIME!

We have more Yoga classes available and don’t forget if you’re a direct debit member then all of our fitness classes, including Yoga are free.

Does your usual workout seem like a scene from the movie Groundhog Day—just more of the same old, same old? Then try one, or all, of our great new fitness classes at Teddington Pools & Fitness Centre.

Not only will they breathe new life into your gym time, helping you stay motivated, but they’ll also keep your body burning more calories.

Why not try….

Body Tone
This is an all over strength and endurance workout suitable for all. A low impact warm up followed by exercises to target all the major muscle groups in the body, deep and superficial. Various forms of equipment may be used to sculpt the body including weights, body bars, body balls, resistance bands and steps. Different formats are used to keep class interesting, challenging and fun!
Tuesdays 6.00-7.00pm

Box Circuits
A combination of boxercise and circuits. A great energetic class involving pad work, strength building and endurance training targeting multiple muscle groups. Suitable for all.
Fridays 7.00-7.45am

Street Dance Fit
This class is a vibrant blend of edgy street dance and high-energy fitness for individuals who love music and want to have fun whilst having a work out.
Saturdays 8.15-9.15am

With over 70 classes per week, Teddington Pools & Fitness Centre will keep you motivated and feeling good!

Adult ballet back by popular demand

This class teaches all different aspects of technique, whether you want to take up ballet as a serious skill, brush up on your technique, learn new and exciting routines or just want to get fit and have fun. Come and do a class that will make you move like a professional ballerina.

Ballet strengthens and tones and is great for stress relief and stamina.

Our class takes place on Wednesday 8.00-9.00pm and will start from Wednesday 4 May.

Do you enjoy playing badminton?

Our Badminton Club at Whitton Sports & Fitness Centre caters for players of all standards. With a mix of experienced players and a fully qualified coach on hand to give advice should you want it, you’ll be able to enjoy badminton on your own terms.

We are always looking for new players to come along and join in and we will always make you feel welcome.

Badminton Club sessions are available:

Sunday 10.00am – 12noon (family session for adults and children aged 8+years)

So what is Body Fit? It’s an entire body workout like no other; it combines strength and cardio all in one. With regular adaptations to keep those muscle working and making the class challenging but enjoyable

Are you a Nifty Fifty?

Physical activity is essential if we want to enjoy good health as we get older. Regular exercise will help keep you mobile and achieve more out of life.

Nifty Fifties at Teddington Pools & Fitness Centre is a class aimed for people over 50 years old and of all levels. It comprises of a gentle low impact aerobic section followed by conditioning work, core work and stretches that could incorporate body balls, exercise bands and light hand weights. Emphasis is put on maintaining or improving posture
and range of motion around the major joints. This is a great class to work at your own pace.

Classes are available:
Monday 11.35am-12.35pm
Wednesday 2.05-3.05pm
Thursday 1.30-2.30pm
