Sports club update – karate and judo with Bu’Sen

The Anglo Japanese Judo Association who's headquarters is at Bu-Sen in Twickenham invited all members from their numerous satellite clubs to attend their annual tournament which was held at Hampton Academy on the 1 March.
With over 150 entries it proved to be a very busy and productive day, with the organisation and refereeing being up to its usual first class standard, apart from the odd bruise the whole day was injury free demonstrating the control and discipline shown by all the fighters during the day.
The Olympic Games in Rio are not far away and it may be the case that one day some of these budding champions will represent their country at the highest level. Well done to all of the competitors and we look forward to seeing you at our next event.
