This month we launch our brand new group exercise timetable with a class to suit everybody!

With 50 classes to choose from there's no better way to get fit for summer. Those of you who regularly attend classes will know that training in a group is a fun and social way of getting fit and if you haven’t tried one before here are 3 reasons why you definitely should!

Motivation
Working out with friends or a group of likeminded people helps to keep you motivated to regularly attend your class. Plus, it pushes you to work harder to keep up with the pace of the class.

Accountability
If you just don’t feel like going to the gym some days it’s easy to talk yourself out of it when you train alone. If you attend classes, knowing that your class mates will wonder where you are if you don’t go will keep you motivated to show up!

The buzz
There’s nothing like it! Whether your group training is in a HIIT class, Yoga, Kettlebells or Boxercise class when the music is playing and you look around and see everyone working hard together you get that ultimate buzz that training on your own doesn’t give.

So set yourself a goal this month to try something new and book one of our brand new classes.

Get into the swing with our kettlebell classes

Why not come along to Shene Sports & Fitness Centre and try our great new Kettlebell class.

Kettlebells give you an intense workout combining strength, flexibility and cardio-training for an exceptional level of overall fitness. There’s no better way to burn fat than with a few high rep sets of kettlebell swings, snatches and clean and jerks.

This new class will run on Tuesday 6:30-7.15pm and Thursday 7.15-8.00pm and starts w/c 16 April.

Looking for a fast class that in terms of fitness covers everything?

Come and try our new FGF Express classes!

These 30 minute classes will combine mobility, functional strength & conditioning and HIIT. It’s the perfect workout.

FGF Express classes are available:

Monday 7.15-7.45am and 6.30-7.00pm
Tuesday 7.15-7.45am and 6.30-7.00pm
Wednesday 6.30-7.00pm
Thursday 7.15-7.45am
Friday 7.15-7.45am
Saturday 11.15-12noon
Sunday 9.00-9.30am

Punch your way to fitness

Boxercise is an effective form of cross training that incorporates a combination of boxing movements and aerobics. This makes for a fun alternative and also improves rhythm, coordination as well as burning calories.

The class uses punch combinations, pad work and boxing specific moves to improve cardiovascular fitness and tone muscles.

Our new Boxercise classes are available at Shene Sports & Fitness Centre and start w/c 16 April:
Mondays 8.00-9.00pm 
Saturdays 9.00-10.00am
