Easter is nearly here and we’ve got loads of fun things to keep the kids occupied during the Easter holidays including swim crash courses, synchro, diving and mini water polo workshops and toddler fun time sessions.

Don’t forget it’s time to book onto a sports course for our new April-July term. With so many junior and adult courses you’ll be spoilt for choice.

New sports and fitness centres summer programme out now!

Bookings are now being taken for our summer courses. So why not book a sports course today.

There’s a wide range of junior and adult courses to choose from including ballet, trampolining, karate, gymnastics, taekwondo, badminton, judo, roller skating, street dance, basketball, football, tennis and squash.

Courses are available at Shene Sports & Fitness Centre, Hampton Sports & Fitness Centre, Whitton Sports & Fitness Centre and Teddington Sports Centre.

Learn to swim this Easter at Teddington Pools

We have spaces available on our Easter holiday swim crash courses. So please hurry and book your place today!

It’s the school holidays and the last thing you want while the kids are home from school is for them to sit in front of the TV or play video games all day. So why not let them do something they already enjoy that’s healthy, and book them into a swim crash course at Teddington Pools & Fitness Centre.

Swimming crash courses are a great introduction to swimming for your child. The aim of our courses is to build and improve water confidence / swimming ability in all age groups, to improve weak swimmers and to give the younger ones an introduction to water safety and structured lessons.

Our holiday crash courses are designed both for participants already in our swim school and for those that have never used the centre before.

New fitness classes coming to Teddington Pools & Fitness Centre

Our new programme starts here at Teddington Pools & Fitness Centre on Tuesday 3 April so why not try one of our new fitness classes?


Advanced Spinning with Carin 8.00-8.45pm 
This class is aimed at those participants that want a harder challenge than the general level spin class.

Running Technique with Eduardo 6.00-7.00pm
Led by one of our passionate and motivating Instructors this class will include exercises and drills to improve running technique. It’s based outdoors within the gated area of the park just behind the swimming pool. 

Bootcamp with Niall/Sam 9.30-10.30am
This outdoor fitness class includes body or free weight exercises, boxing, battle ropes, circuits, partner work and team games. There’s something for everyone. It’s fun and motivational but without the military shouting!

LoYo Core with Stuart 12.15-1.15pm
A low impact, weighted cardio workout, followed by strength training, core conditioning and deep stretching using a variety of Yoga poses and Pilates exercises. This class is suitable for the 50+participant.

Hype Dance Fit with Anna 8.15-9.15am
This class is a vibrant blend of edgy street dance and high-energy fitness for individuals who love music and want to have fun whilst having a work out.

Bass Box with Anna 10.15-11.15am
This is a pad work class to garage and drum’n’bass with easy to follow combinations based around a cardio and toning workout for the first half and a HIIT principle for the second half. Not suitable for complete beginners.

In need of a football pitch?

So if you’re struggling to fit in re-arranged fixtures, especially due to the recent bad weather, then why not book our 3G pitch.

The 3G Pitch at Whitton Sports & Fitness Centre provides the perfect playing surface regardless of weather. The pitch can be hired, per hour, as one third of a pitch or hired as one whole pitch.

Toddler Fun this Easter

Whitton Sports & Fitness Centre has a dedicated toddler session where pre-school children can come along and enjoy our fantastic range of soft play equipment including bouncy castle and inflatable slide.

Toddler Fun Time sessions are available weekdays during the Easter holidays at the following times:
Tuesday 3 April to Friday 13 April 9.00am – 4.00pm (excluding bank holidays).

Don’t forget these sessions are also available Saturday and Sunday 9.00-10.55am all year round.

It’s a great place for your little ones to burn off some energy!

Tumble your way across the mat…jump off the beam

Join in one of the most popular sports in the UK. Our gymnastics classes at Teddington Sports Centre will introduce your child to a range of exciting activities from floor work to vaulting. 

Gymnastics is great for developing co-ordination, balance and fitness as well as giving a real sense of achievement.

We have new classes available on Mondays:
4+yrs 5.30-6.30pm
6+yrs 6.30-7.30pm
8+yrs 7.30-8.30pm

Courses are also available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Sign up for boys’ basketball

Here at Hampton Sports & Fitness Centre we offer Basketball for boys aged 11+years. 

Practice your dribbling, shooting, passing and game play with our qualified coaches from Richmond Knights Basketball Club.

Sessions are available on Monday 6.15-7.30pm and start on the 16th April.

RISE activities for Easter and new summer term

RISE (Richmond Inclusive Sports and Exercise) promotes inclusive and disability specific sport and exercise activities in the borough for children, young people and adults.

Our regular weekly RISE activities, including Football, Dance & Drama, Multi-Sports, Trampolining, Swimming and Wheelchair Basketball, will take a break over Easter and will recommence week beginning 16 April.  

During the Easter holidays, we will run a 5 day canoeing course at Lensbury Watersports Centre, Monday 9 to Friday 13 April, 10.30am-12.30pm.
