Pilates at Teddington Pools & Fitness Centre

It was created by German born Joseph Pilates in the early 1900s and incorporates elements of yoga, martial arts and western forms of exercise. Pilates can help improve posture, muscle tone and flexibility, core strength and joint mobility, as well as relieve stress and tension. It can also facilitate injury prevention and physical rehabilitation, builds better balance and coordination, help alleviate aches and pains and offers a safe and beneficial form of exercise for a wide range of medical conditions including Scoliosis, Osteoporosis, Arthritis and Multiple Sclerosis.
