You’re just going to love Hulabop!

In fact, you’ll be having so much fun learning to hula hoop that you won’t even notice the calories you are burning. Hooping is growing fast.

In our brand new class at Hampton Sports & Fitness Centre you’ll learn how to keep the hoop spinning on different parts of your body, toning all those areas as you learn. You will also learn tricks to make the experience even more fun! Hooping has numerous benefits. It is a great cardio workout; it strengthens core muscles, improves flexibility and fitness and helps with coordination.

Hooping is ideal for people who would like to get back into fitness perhaps after an injury or having a baby. It’s very low impact so can be very beneficial for people who find jumping difficult. The repetitive movements slowly build up strength and flexibility without putting strain on joints. In fact hooping can be really helpful for people with mild arthritis.

But kids love hula hooping too! It’s great for improving coordination in children. There are endless tricks to learn and games to play so it keeps them interested.

These new Hulabop sessions are available at Hampton Sports & Fitness Centre at the following times:
Children 5+years

Tuesday 5.30-6.00pm
Adults 16+years
Tuesday 6.00-7.00pm

Sessions are available at Shene Sports & Fitness Centre too:
Children 5-11years

Monday 4.30-5.30pm
Adults 16+years
Wednesday 8.00-9.00pm
